Don't know if you've seen this; if you haven't you're in for a treat, if you have, watch it again.

beauty! always game for a 2nd half of the last century take on a tune from the first half of the last century..."Alice In Wonderland" is another of Bill's interpretations from the Disney series

LaFaro's "Gloria's Step" has consistently held my fascination...i like to think of the 2 x 10 bar structures as partly based on shifting Lydian (Fmaj7, Ebmaj7, Dbmaj7) and Locrian modes (Ami7b5, Emi7b5, Gmi7b5, Dmi7b5)...somewhat similar as i would consider the Lady With A Fan jam based on F Lydian

stumbled upon this take (brisk tempo!) from 10 years after LaFaro departed this world:

btw, just wondering, are you still into playing keys GB?

These later videos of Evans always sadden me a bit - you can see the evidence of his prolonged heroin use from the swelling of his hands.

Still playing piano although not as much anymore - I've been investigating guitar in my spare time.

While you experts are here, is "Mirrors" from Freddie Hubbard's Breaking Point related to Blues for Allah?

Or is it just the mood?
